Embedding a DirectLake report is not supported for now.As you can see in the official documentation, this feature is not currently supported in this product, which is a product design issue.
The product team is still working on optimizing it. If you would like to suggest feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here to improve this feature. It is the right place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Some customers reported that they solved this problem by updating Desktop to the May version.
Desktop was updated on May 21. After uninstalling the original version, you can download the installation package through the following link and install it.

429 Too Many Requests error. This error is typically due to hitting the Google Sheets API’s quota limits.

Based on the error message, have you tried upgrading My workspace to free fabric trial capacity?
If you’re using the Microsoft Fabric trial, make sure that your Fabric administrator has enabled the preview of Microsoft Fabric for your tenant. To enable the preview, your administrator needs to go to the Power BI admin portal and turn on the option “Allow users to try Microsoft Fabric (Preview)” under Tenant settings.
