1. what operation were you doing when you encountered this error? Did you get the error when you did the same operation before?
2. What version of Desktop are you currently using? Have you updated it before?

Here are the steps,

 

1. Open report in PBI web. Download the .pbix file from the portal. 

2. Try to open it in PBI desktop. 

3. Since the report connects to kusto, it asks for login to data source. 

4. Click sign-in and enter credentials. 

5. After login is successful, click "connect" on the dialog. 

6. The above error is seen and the report would not open. 

 

Version details:

Version: 2.126.1261.0 64-bit (February 2024) --> This is on SAW, so I do not have control on what version is installed.
