SUM DATE

Hi everyone,

I'd like to calculate the sum of a specific date .

Here is the format : 

I have until May 2024

I would like to have the total of 2024 in a measure, same for 2023, so that after I can make growth %

1. Create One calculated Column and Split the Year.

2. For clculcting the Qty based on year please use the below Measure.

3. Final result will look something like this

thanks but the thing is in the formula, it doesn't give me the opportunity to select my table date

please give the table name and column in it like below

Year(Table Name[Date Column name])

You should not give year here year is the function

please use this "Year_ = Year(FRANCEINVOICESResults[Date])"

Thanks, but this what I explained, after I put YEAR, they don't propose me to put "franceinvoices(date)

I guess you are creating Measure please create new Column not meaure.

Sorry if i havn't been clear enough.

I have date in the format dd/mm/yyyy

I just want to have a formula showing the sum of quantity within 2024 for example

Same for month also

@ConstantDele  Is that you want sum of the values based on year , OR you want to add  date1 + DAte2. 

But Adding dates is not having any data meaning!

It will be better to understand if you describe your requirement properly with proper sample data as well as the expected output ypu want.
