Ability to see but not edit DAX code or data view in Direct Query mode.

I understand that in direct query mode the ability to change the data view, DAX or the model is not allowed as that would defeat the purpose of direct query.

However similar to how you can still see the model and the relationships it would extremely useful to be able to see the DAX and the data view in direct query mode the same way.  So you can know what the dataset has available yet not the ability to change it.

For example our data analytics department utilizes one master data model to build reports from.  We have our measures built out on there and it keeps all our reports consistent with the same data model.  However if someone is building a report and they want to use a measure they may not know exactly what data that measure is pulling in.  If they could see the DAX code but not change it, it would save so many questions having to be asked or for them to have to download a version of our Master Data Model to know what it is just to get back to building a report.
