Mix of Months & Years on X axis to Plot $ per month (this year) and $ Per year (future years)

We have a column chart with revenue per month for items that span 5 Years with focus on the firsrt year. What is the best way to group the subsequent years so that my x axis shows months of the first year and then a total $ for each later year. 

The top chart is what we have currently. Would like it to look like the visuals on the bottom but on one chart.

Use the Calendar date column for the X axis, and change the axis type to continuous.
